I’ve Got You. Now Hold Still is a one of a kind original painting by Noemi Safir from the series My Body Remembers You. One female figure is folded over a table until her head seems to disappear into the domestic space, while another remains close, holding her body in place.
The painting explores the complicated space where care begins to contain. Being held can gradually become an instruction to stay small, still and partially unseen. Through the distorted body, physical contact and familiar domestic setting, Safir examines how closeness can shape posture, visibility and the amount of space a person learns to occupy.
Each original painting is signed in the front and arrives with a signed certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
