I’ll Meet You Under Here is a one of a kind original painting by Noemi Safir from the series My Body Remembers You. The work places two female figures on opposite sides of a table, turning an ordinary domestic object into a physical structure of the relationship.
One woman remains above while the other is compressed beneath, reaching toward the same hand that covers her mouth. Contact, care, authority and silencing become part of a single gesture. Through the distorted female body and the restricted space around it, Safir explores the emotional patterns we learn in order to preserve closeness, even when connection begins to limit our voice.
Each original painting is signed in the front and arrives with a signed certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
