I Can’t Tell Where You End is a one of a kind original painting by Noemi Safir from the series My Body Remembers You. Two female figures are so physically entangled that one body appears to continue into the other.
The painting explores the point where closeness begins to blur separation. Another person’s needs, fears and expectations can live inside us for so long that they start to feel like our own. Through the merging bodies and compressed space, Safir examines how relationships can shape the body’s sense of self and asks what remains of our own shape when we have learned to carry two people as one.
Each original painting is signed in the front and arrives with a signed certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
