In Come Closer, I Can’t Hear You Think, two women bend toward each other until almost every distance between them disappears. Their heads meet and their hands hold the face between them, turning attention into something physical.
The painting comes from that familiar instinct to notice every mood, every small change, every need before it is expressed. Over time, intimacy can become a form of constant awareness. Knowing someone deeply begins to include the feeling that we should already know what they think, what they need and what they are about to feel.
Part of My Body Remembers You, the work explores the way relationships can remain in the body as posture, instinct and learned ways of staying close.
Each original painting is signed in the front and arrives with a signed certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
