Wild Girls Don’t Apologize is a series of contemporary figurative paintings by Noemi Safir, created between 2023 and 2025. The series follows women who carry emotional weight, inherited wounds, desire, responsibility, memory and longing, yet refuse to make themselves smaller in order to be understood.

These are wild girls because they are alive, complicated, vulnerable, sensual, wounded, powerful and they are still moving. They bend beneath pressure, reach toward freedom, hold on to fragile balance, stand inside chaos, rise after pain and search for the right to exist as they are.
